    No matter where you go or whatever the language, this phrase is universal. On my recent travels to Greece, Croatia, Bosnia and Slovenia I was astounded by the number of times I heard the phrase Blah Blah Blah by pretty much all of the guides in each country. I had never really noticed it before this trip – but for some reason it was loud and proud this time around. How can this be?     For such a small Australian city, it’s people are everywhere. Almost everywhere I go in the world, I am often asked where I come from. Although I have lived in Sydney for more than half my life, I sometimes use my home town as the ‘where are you from’ answer. ‘I’m from Dubbo, Australia’ and you’d be surprised how many people actually know of Dubbo or know someone from Dubbo or are from Dubbo themselves.  It’s an ice breaker for conversation, I swear.     Passion – An observation

    Passion takes so many forms in Italy and is displayed in various ways that, perhaps to the more conservative nations, may seem a little shocking, coquette, embarrassing, cheeky or just downright ‘get a room’ rude. But the simple fact is Italians throw passion at absolutely everything, and it shows.  Well not exactly everything, try getting a house built with any great speed here, or get the post office staff to work a second past knock off time.   It seems in Italy their thought process about this topic is ‘a sad state of affairs if people think this open passion is wrong when it should be something to be embraced’.
